We continue our March recognition with Shelia Rhodes.

Shelia became involved with McGaheysville Volunteer Fire Company (MVFC) in the mid 1980's, and became a member in 1995. Shelia has been involved with working Bingo, dinners, lawn parties and many other functions. She still is heavily involved with working current fundraisers.

Shelia states she has enjoyed her time at MVFC as we are all one big family. I have always said you have the family you were born into and then you have the firehouse family.

In 2020 she was voted in as a lifetime member with MVFC. This is one of her greatest achievements with MVFC that she is proud of.

Shelia currently serves on the Board of Directors.

Lastly, Shelia believes in volunteering your time giving of yourself for the benefit of others is one of the greatest accomplishments in a persons life. I am proud to be part of the MVFC.
