Fellow Firefighters and members of MVFC are mourning the loss of Greg Armentrout. Greg recently became ill and never recovered from his illnesses.

Greg joined MVFC in 1999 and had 23 active years with the department, many of those years serving as Lieutenant. He was active up to the day he became ill.

Remembering Roy

On this date 13 years ago, Firefighter Roy D. Smith, III was fatally injured in a traffic crash while responding to a call for a structure fire. Roy was a promising young firefighter who had not only a bright future with our company but also aspired to be a professional firefighter. We remember Roy on this day every year and pray that he continues to watch over us.
