| Why did you join the fire department? |
I was always around the fire department as a kid with my father and brother being members of the fire company. So as I was growning up I could not wait until I was old enough to join the company. 28 years later I still have that same excitement and energy for the fire company as I did when I joined. |

| What are your hobbies and/or interests outside of the fire department? |
Well....Working a full time job and being a full time volunteer doesn't leave much time. I enjoy camping with my family in the summertime. |

| What do you like best about being part of the fire department? |
Its like a second family. All of us work together well and when I am there I feel like I am at my second home. |

| What is your most memorable incident? |
Early in my joining the fire company we had several traffic crashes with fatalities, those crashes still stick in my mind and the traffic crash involing the loss of one of our own. |
