2nd alarm fire in first due response area, Dec 6th

First Due -2nd Alarm Fire
McGaheysville, Elkton and Shenandoah fire companies was dispatched for a structure fire in Massanutten on December 6th. Engine 801 arrived on location to find fire through the roof of a two story timeshare condo. An aggressive interior attack was made by the 1st arriving companies and held the fire to the condo of origin. Command requested a 2nd alarm for extra apparatus and manpower.
Units were on the scene for 3 hours and there was no injuries.
