| On Friday May 14 crews from McGayehsville, Elkton, and Rockingham County went to Spotswood High School to perform a vehicle extrication demonstration for the students and teachers of the school. This demonstration was done to simulate what firefighter crews would have to do if you were entrapped in a vehicle accident. Students were taught how the door was popped open, removed, and how to remove the roof. Crews also rolled the dashes and removed the seats to show the students all the aspects of the vehicle extrication. Company 80 would like to thank all that helped make this possible and hopes that the students enjoyed and learned alot from the experience. The crews had a great time and look forward to seeing everyone next year. |
